Assist in natural area management to include native prairie restoration, savanna management and timber stand improvement. This involves the extensive use of fire, mechanical removal and herbicide application. Will assist in establishing and maintaining trails. Heavily involved in invasive species management as well as maintaining cabins.

Monroe County is seeking a seasonal custodial-maintenance technician. Work will include but not limited to: custodial work on MCCB properties, operation of MCCB equipment & vehicles, public/community interaction and working with others.
