Description
This position is a seasonal, full time position from May to August. In this position, the applicant will be assisting the full-time staff in all aspects of development within the county wildlife areas, parks, and timber areas. This will include but in not limited to: prairie establishment, timber stand improvement projects, preparing and conducting prescribed burns, wetland management, noxious weed and brush control, prairie management, flash grazing with goats, park maintenance, food plot establishment, and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled or have a degree in one of the following fields: natural resources management, wildlife biology, ecology, forestry, or a related field of study. Relevant work experience will also be considered in the place of education.
