Split Rock Park is an 80-acre area and is the largest and most highly used park in the Chickasaw County Conservation Board system. A 10-acre man-made lake was constructed at the park in 1966 and provides quality fishing for Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, and Channel Catfish. Some crappie are occasionally caught.
Split Rock Park is located 4 miles south and 1.5 miles west of Fredericksburg at 3090 Pembroke Ave.

Campground is closed November 1 to April 1 each year.
Due to a fish kill during the winter of 2013-14, there are not any fish in Split Rock Park Lake. We will begin renovation of the lake during the fall of 2014. Some fish (bluegill) should be catchable size by the summer of 2016.
