OWL PROWL @ TWIN PONDS

Event Summary

Chickasaw County Conservation will be hosting an Owl Prowl at Twin Ponds, on Thursday, February 9, 2012 @ 6:00 pm. First, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the owls of Iowa and their adaptations. That will be followed by a chance to hop onto some snowshoes and try to call some in while hiking through the woods. If we are lucky, we will be able to see one of the snowy owls that has come to spend its winter in Iowa. Please dress for the weather and wear boots. Due to a limited number of snowshoes, we ask that you call us ahead of time at 641-394-4714 to let us know that you plan on attending.
