Event Summary

Our adventure race is slated to be a fun yet competitive event for multiple competitive divisions. The triathlon will consist of 2.5 miles of canoeing followed by 11.5 miles of biking, and finally 3.5 miles of running and obstacles to the finish line!  

* Participants can also just compete in the 3.2 mile run with obstacles.

On site check in begins at 8:00 at the Little Wall Lake boathouse.

Staggered start racing will begin at 9:00.

RULES
Additional rules specific to this race will be given on race day during registration. These rules are written to ensure the safety and integrity of teams and race staff/volunteers. The rules will be enforced by the Little Wall Adventure Race staff and volunteers. Winners will be the entire team that crosses the finish line completing the entire course and all challenges. Race organizers reserve the right to change the rules or the course at any time for the best interest/safety of participants. Following may result in disqualification of the race:

  • Using a mode of travel other than the one specified for each leg. 
  • Any travel other than human powered travel.
  • Traveling within prohibited and/or private land areas. 
  • Unauthorized road/trail travel or cutting corners. 
  • Non-assistance to a person in danger. 
  • Not wearing a helmet while on the bike. 
  • Violation over the identity of a competitor or change of team member during the race. 
  • Removing/altering a trail sign or marking. Not using safety gear when directed by race management. 
  • Picking up and dropping off gear in a place other than at designated transition area. 
  • Not having race number visible at all times.
TEAMS
  • 4 person teams will designate 2 team mates to canoe, 1 team mate to run and 1 team mate to bike. All team mates may participate in the run and bike but only designated team mates times will qualify and be counted. 
  • 2 person teams will participate in all portions of the adventure race. Team times will be counted when both team mates cross the finish line.
Withdrawal
Voluntary withdrawal must occur at a transition area. Teams that withdrawal must notify race officials at the nearest transition area.

EQUIPMENT
This is an unsupported race- required gear must be carried by the team at all times – support crews will not be allowed.
Canoes
- Teams can either bring their own canoe/kayak or rent a canoe/kayak when they register.
Mandatory Personal Equipment
- Mountain Bike (no road bike)
- Bike Helmet
- Photo ID
- Life Jacket (if providing own canoe;  rentals will be supplied with lifejackets)
Mandatory Team Equipment
- Canoes and PFD’s: you may bring your own canoe or rent a canoe the day of the competition.

- Water stops will be provided on the course
