Gehrke Wildlife Area




This wildlife area covers 6 ½ acres of land. The marshland is for the use of nesting and habitat for wildlife. The area is adjacent to the South Fork of the Iowa River.  There is stream fishing available, great primitive area, lots of timber and open for hunting.



Location

Gehrke Wildlife Area is located 3 ½ miles north of Hubbard on State Highway 65, continue north on County road J Avenue for 3 ½ miles.

Open 6:00 A.M. and closes at 10:30 P.M.
