The schoolhouse sits on .64 acre.. The Hardin County Consevation Board received the McCoy School House as a gift from David and Jane Faust and Henry and Anna Blomberg in 1987. It is interesting to visit a one room schoolhouse where teachers often taught all ages, K-12, often shutting down during planting and harvest time. The stories these walls could tell!
