Horseshoe Lake Wetland Area
One of the few remnant oxbows of the Missouri River in Harrison County, the Horseshoe Lake Wetland Area has 41 acres. It has intermittent water depending on rainfall. With both wetland and woodland habitats, there is hunting for waterfowl and upland game. Hunters are reminded it is illegal to discharge a firearm within 200 yards of an occupied building or feedlot-watch for signs.
Location
Horseshoe Lake Wetland Area is located two miles west of Modale on 260th Street.
