Remington Boat Launch


Remington Boat Launch is one of only a few accessible boat ramps on the Missouri River in Harrison County. It is owned by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and managed by the Harrison County Conservation Board. This site is an official Lewis and Clark campsite used during their historic trek westward in 1804. Hunting consists of small game on this one acre with bank fishing also available. Overnight camping is NOT allowed at the Remington Boat Launch. Located adjacent to the Soldier Bend Wildlife Area of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
