Consider connecting with Linn County Conservation Department by
attending events,
visiting our parks, volunteering your time, and organizing educational visits to Linn County Conservation!
Volunteering is a critical part of the Linn County Conservation Department operation and success. Last year, volunteers donated over 5,500 hours! Volunteers can help with a variety of programs and projects, including:
- Volunteer for building operations at Wickiup Hill Learning Center
- Volunteer as a campground host at one of our campground parks
- Volunteer with beautification work (clean-up and/or plantings) through out the County
- Volunteer with special projects
- Share your talents with the community by hosting educational or public programs

Education is an important part of Linn County Conservation Department's mission. Last year, the Conservation Education team hosted 316 programs totaling 13,864 participants. If you have a group of preschool-age children, school-aged children or adult-learners interested in education, email conservation@linncounty.org for more details!
