Peters Park consists of 73.3 acres known as the Rodney Pits Recreation Area. Here three abandoned gravel pits were developed for recreation and fishing. Located one mile east of Rodney, the combined 42 acres of water provide good fishing for bass, bluegill, crappie and catfish.  Facilities at Peters Park include twenty-five electrical and water camping pads, 14 are full hookups, one handicap accessible campsite, vault toilets, open shelter house with electric and picnic tables, drinking water, dump station, swim beach, and playground.  A gravel boat ramp and boat dock and ground/upright grills are also available. Electrical sites are $16.00 per night. Non-electrical sites $12.00 per night. We currently do not take rerservations for campsites at this park as it is a first come first serve basis.

25 campsites,including one that is handicap accessible,  20-50 amp electrical boxes, water at each sites and sewer at 14 sites, vault toilets, open shelter house with electrical outlets and picnic tables, drinking water and dump station. Seven upright grills and 25 ground grills are also available. A gravel boat ramp and boat dock are available for use as well as a swim beach and playground. A great location for fishing and camping. Electrical sites are $16.00 per night.
