Meredith Park, also known as Plover Pit, is a popular place for fishing, swimming, picnicking, and camping. Special features include an excellent 5 l/2 acre natural lake, a new playground created from 15,000 recycled milk jugs, and a new sleeping cabin added in 2007.

Meredith Park is located 1 1/2 miles north of Plover on N57 in north central Pocahontas County.
