Arrowhead Park Cabin 1 sleeps up to five and provides heating, air conditioning, electricity, refrigerator, microwave oven, table and chairs. Just outside each cabin is a water hydrant, picnic table, fire ring and grill. Restrooms and modern shower house are within walking distance.

- No smoking in cabin

Hitchcock Nature Center now has the perfect overnight facilities for modern-day nature lovers. The modern campground features 18 spacious RV sites with 50 amp electric service. A shower house with flush toilets, satellite restrooms, water hydrants, and a dump station are also located in the campground area. Each RV site is outfitted with a picnic table and fire ring.
- Pets welcome, but must be leashed.

Loess Hills Lodge
Hitchcock Nature Center's Loess Hills Lodge is an excellent place to begin your journey of the Loess Hills landform. The exhibit gallery invites visitors to
- Disocver how the Loess Hills were formed and identify common prairie plant species found on the preserve.
- Take a 3D tour of the entire 1,003 acre preserve in our mini-theatre and learn about the fascinating tools used at Hitchcock to preserve the native prairie ecosystem.
- Simulate raptor wing motions as you move through aerial centers, identify raptors in flight, and listen to their unique calls.
- Learn more about the 20 migrating raptor species spotted at Hitchcock during the fall.
- Explore Curiosity Cove, a hands-on learning area for children of all ages. Enjoy the tracks pin board or find antlers, leaves, insects and more at the discovery amoeba table.

Loess Hills Lodge Rentals
The beautiful Loess Hill Lodge has two rooms available for your next meeting or family gathering. The Goldfinch Room has a maximum occupancy of 50 people. The Bluestem Room has a maximum occupancy of 70 people.

Rental Discount
A discount of $50.00 off the rental fee is available to any group willing to completely set up and tear down their rental. Discounts do not apply to hourly rentals or rentals of less than half-day.
