Ringneck Rendezvous- postponed due to flooding

This fun filled night will be held at the Rock Valley Gun Club from 5:30 to 9 pm. Ages 5 to 16 encouraged to attend. Those age 5-8 years old must have an adult present. Cost for this event is $10 per participant, adults welcome to with $10 registration fee and preregistration. Shorter wait times at the door if preregistered. Event sponsored by the Sioux Prairie Pheasants Forever Chapter, Sioux County Conservation Board, Rock Valley Gun Club, and Iowa DNR. Activities being planned for the evening include; trap shooting (ages 12 and over), BB guns, archery, sling shots, games; door prizes, education sessions; and pizza. Preregistration is required for this event by June 11, 2014. Individuals registered will receive: $50 "play money', meal, option for ringneck membership, hat, bag, and more. Ringneck membership costs additional $5 with matching fund of $5 by the Sioux Prairie Pheasants Forever. Registrations received after June 11, 2014 will not receive a hat (which entitles them to a drawing for a free gun at the November banquet) and will not receive ringneck membership. The "play money" is used on the games, trapshooting, and raffle buckets; there will be no live auction this year, registration for the night has been revamped with shorter wait times for those that preregistered. Many prizes to be won! The Gould Brothers will conclude the night with their exhibition shooting!! Registration Forms can be found here. Participants will be considered registered when the form and payment are turned in or once registration is completed online. Must be postmarked by June 11. First 400 kids will be accepted. Weather related cancellations will be aired on 93.9 FM. Rain date: June 19, 2014.
