Open to ages 14 and up (ages 14-17 with adult).  Hosted at Prairie Heritage Center, O'Brien from 8 am-4:30 pm.  Courses include: Dutch oven cooking, recurve bows, spears, nature hike, bison viewing, dog training, monarchs, gardening, and much more!  Cost is $45, includes lunch.  Hosted by National Wild Turkey Federation and Lyon, Sioux, Osceola, and O’Brien County Conservation Boards.  A fun experience for ladies of all backgrounds must call to pre-register at 712-552-3057 or click here to print off brochure and send in with registration payment.  

For those that register for this event we will be offering a river float as a pre-workshop event. Float the Little Sioux River on FRIDAY, September 11. We will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Prairie Heritage Center. We’ll eat lunch on the sandbar and plan to be back to the center by around 2:00 p.m.You must contact us to pre-register for this event.
