Meier Wildlife Refuge


This refuge sits on 23.84 acres of land . The unique feature of the area is the gravel pit with a maximum depth of 10 feet, which is stocked with bluegills and large mouth bass. The area offers good lake fishing, and a great prairie area.  Wayne and Roberta Meier donated the property to Hardin County Conservation in 1994.


Location

This wildlife area is located 1 mile west of Hubbard on the south side of State Highway 175. .

Operating Hours & Seasons

Opens at 6:00 A.M. and closes at 10:30 P.M.

Closures
