Join the Sioux County Conservation Boards for their annual Hunter Safety Education Course, August 10, at the Oak Grove Lodge from 9 am -7 pm. Class is open to those ages 11 and over, participants must attend full length of class. Registration for class is currently unavailable will be posted soon.
Prior to class students will need to pick up a Hunter Safety Manual from either the Hawarden, Orange City or Rock Valley Public Libraries. Prior to class you will need to complete the review questions in the manual and bring the manual and questions with you to class. Class will cover firearm safety, hunting ethics, first aid, hunting laws, and much more. Students will need a sack lunch and snacks for the day. Must pre-register for event online only.
