Cedar Valley Nature Trail Closure - October 25, 2023

Contractors are making great progress
on culvert replacements and erosion control improvements along the unpaved
portion of the Cedar Valley Nature Trail.
The Cedar Valley Nature Trail from
Carter Avenue to the McFarlane Bridge over the Cedar River will be closed
beginning October 25, 2023, as contractors work their way north on the
trail making these improvements.
For the safety of the public and the contractors, trail closures will
occur as construction progresses. Please watch for trail closure updates on the
Black Hawk County Conservation’s website (www.blackhawkcountyparks.com) and Facebook page. Please avoid the closed areas and obey ALL trail closure
signage.
We appreciate your patience as we work to improve the Cedar Valley Nature
Trail.
