FULL: Camp Half-Blood (Ages 9-13)

Event Summary

Think you have what it takes to be a hero? 

At Camp Half-Blood, you will train your minds and bodies to become a hero alongside fellow demigods. Kids will learn about Greek mythology through the lens of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and complete various activities and trainings, such as archery, Greek arts and crafts, and more. This brand-new camp will inspire kids to use their imagination and encourage their love for reading storytelling.

All registrations must be done online and no walk-ins will be accepted. If you need assistance in registering for programs online, please call the nature center 319-277-2187 and we will help you. ·

Prior to the program, registration materials and waiver must be completed for each participant and turned into the nature center. These materials can be emailed to gcallaway@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov or sent to 657 Reserve Drive Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613

Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.
