Putty Root Preserve

Putty Root Orchid

Putty Root Preserve is a primitive area with very little human impact. This area is 15 acres of oak hickory forest where the namesake puttyroot orchid is found. Songbirds, including many warbler species, utilize the forest for feeding and cover during spring migration.
