Saturday, September 14, 2019

Join the naturalist to get up close and personal with monarch butterflies. Everyone will get an opportunity to tag a monarch. Tagging monarchs is part of an ongoing research project with the University of Kansas to track migrating monarchs. We will also discuss the decline of monarch butterflies and what you can do to help!

The Monarch Tagging program will be held Saturday, September 14th at 2:00 PM at Buena Vista County Conservation Park. We will meet at the North Shelter Area. The park is located at 359 440th Street Peterson, IA 51047.

Registration is required by Friday, September 13th at 4 PM. Call the conservation office at 712 – 295 -7985 to register.
