Canning Apples 101

The crisp, fresh taste of apples can be
yours all year around when you learn the basics of apple canning. Naturalist
Katie will lead the "Canning with Apples 101" class that will include
a live demonstration on how to can the summer's most bountiful fruit. There
will be samples of applesauce on hand to taste, as well as proven, easy-to-use
recipes to take home. "Canning with Apples 101" will be held
Saturday, July 27 at 2:00 PM in the newly renovated Gabrielson Park shelter
house.
Registration is required for this program by Thursday, July
