We would like participants to come to as many classes in the series as possible
to hone in on the craft, but it is not required.
Imagine
catching a fish with a lure you made! Soon anglers will be out in force luring in those delicious panfish and the Hawkeye Fly Fishing Association and Clinton County Conservation wants you to be ready showing you how
to tie flies for fishing. No special talents needed as it is a craft that uses beautiful feathers attached to hook with thread to appeal to the finicky fish. You don't even have to be an angler as it would make a great hand-made gift for that special person
that loves to fish. These classes will focus on making larger flies that you would use to panfish. Depending on class ability, we will try to tie two different flies every class.
Feel free to bring spouse, friend or older child for company. Bring your own snacks and drinks.
Some things that may be handy to have would be cheaters, magnifying glass(es), desk light or head lamp.
