These cabins provide visitors who wish a “camping out” experience but may not have the necessary equipment for typical camping. These 18’ X 14’ cabins sleep 5 people: one set of bunk beds and a bunk bed with a futon below. The cabins contain an ADA shower and restroom, microwave and refrigerator with heat and air conditioning for all season use. All you need to bring is your pillows, towels, linens, camping supplies and the spirit of adventure!

The cabins contain an ADA shower and restroom, microwave, refrigerator with heat and air conditioning for all season use. Fees

Weekend, Friday & Saturday nights:  $130 ($65 per night) per cabin
Week days, Sunday - Thursday: $55/night per cabin

Weekly Package: $350 - 7 nights. Weekly reservations are not available online.
You must call the Dallas County Conservation Board office at 515-465-3577 for weekly rate.

Hours of Operation & Seasons

Sportsman Park, Dawson is open year round: Open 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily from May 1 - October 31.   Open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily from November 1 — April 30 

Closures

Please note: Because our first concern for anyone using park roadways is safety, if the snow hasn’t been removed, or if the surface is too slick, the gates will remain closed.
