  • This family event is free to the public.
  • IA residents do not need a fishing license as Cop's N' Bobbers Fishing Derby is held during DNR FREE fishing weekend (June 3,4,5,2022)
  • All ages can fish since it is free fishing weekend, but prizes are only for ages 3 to 14.
  • Each participant will go home with a prize.
  • Feel free to bring your own fishing pole and tackle as there will be a limited number of fishing poles available to barrow.

Cops N' Bobbers was created to help bring law enforcement agencies together with the community they serve. This is a great opportunity to break down barriers and get to know the your local law enforcement officers. Come learn about fishing pole care/maintenance, fish identification, fish regulations, water safety, and other basic fishing instructions.

 Rain Date will be Sunday June 4th at the Beach Picnic Shelter if we are rained out on Saturday.
