Campsite - Little Wall - 23 - full hookup

This site has sewer, water, electric and is a back in gravel pad.  The lake view makes this a popular site.
  • Reservations must be made 5 days in advance of the date of reservation.
  • We have a No Refund policy; however, if you need to cancel your reservation you have one opportunity to reschedule.  Be sure to read the Faciilty Contract for details.
  • There is a $5 per night additional charge for reservations
  • Holiday weekends are not available for reservation. 

Little Wall Lake Park offers many additional campsites (full hookup, water/electric, electric and non-electric) that are available first come, first serve.

Location

This park is located at 3540 Little Wall Lake Road in Hamilton County, Iowa. This road is also Highway 69 and the park entrance is located two miles south of Jewell, Iowa.

Site # 23 is in the front row facing the lake.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please consider this policy prior to purchasing your facility reservation.  Cancellations or changes must be made 15 days in advance of reservation. 

Reservations can be rescheduled 12 months from the original reservation date, so you will have a credit for 12 months.  Any modifications to an existing reservation will be assessed a $25 administrative fee.

REFUND POLICY: Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving & utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date.   However, if you need to cancel your reservation you have one opportunity to reschedule within 12 months of the reservation date.   Any modifications to an existing reservation will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. 

We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee policy with the following exceptions:

  • Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate family member
  • Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel such as a winter storm where a travel advisory has been issued
  • We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event

  • There is a shower house and restroom just a walk away, north of the resident host's house.
  • Dump station is located north of the house as well
  • Firewood is available for purchase at $5/bundle during posted times.

Reservations may be made up to two years in advance.

Holidays are not available for reservation.

Hours of Operation & Seasons

  • Camping is available all year round, however, water is shut off from November 1 thru April 1. 
  • Park Hours:  5:00 am to 10:30 pm
  • Camping check-in:   3:00 pm
  • Camping check-out:  2:00 pm
  • Main gate closes at 10:30 PM. Gates are not locked.
  • All non-registered campers (visitors) shall exit the area by 10:30 PM
  • Campground quiet hours are 10:30 PM - 5:00 AM

 

Closures

NOTES ON USE OF CAMPGROUND IN "OFF-SEASON":
  • The campground may be opened prior to April 1 or closed after October 31 pending favorable weather & ground conditions.
  • Water and modern restrooms/shower facilities may be closed to prevent freezing even though the campground may remain open.
  • Online reservations will not be taken for the "off-season" period, campers will need to utilize the on-site self-registration system and pay the required fee.

OUT OF STATE FIREWOOD IS PROHIBITED.
