Mark and Sadie Bishop Conservation Area

The Mark and Sadie Bishop Conservation Area is 37.79 acres of prairie, grassland and brushy streamside that borders Buck Creek. We encourage hiking and bird watching. Public Hunting is allowed. Hunters should find pheasant and an occasional deer on this site. Ducks also visit the stream that meanders through the back half of the area.

When hunting, please remember the 200 yard rule of a residence.​ 

Hunters are required to use, and can possess, only non-toxic shot while hunting migratory game birds, resident game birds, game animals or furbearers (excluding deer and wild turkey) on all land owned or managed by the Hamilton County Conservation Board.



Location

Located 3 miles northeast of Webster City at 2019 190th Street. Go north of Webster City on R-35, turn east on D-20 and go about a quarter of a mile. It is located on the north side of the road.
