Youth Ice Fishing Day

Kids that register the morning of the event will be entered into a raffle where names will be drawn at random to win an underwater camera, ice fishing rods, gift cards, and more. This event is also FREE to attend. For those that have never ice fished or don't own ice fishing equipment, our staff will be providing some ice fishing rods, reels, and other necessary equipment to those that want to come out and learn about this great sport. Staff members will also be on site to give instruction to those using our equipment, that way you have an idea of what to do in the future. Adults are more than welcome to fish, but will not be eligible to win prizes. If you have questions about the event, please contact Hardin County Conservation staff members at 641-648-9878.
