Nolan Wetland Area


Restored through the Wetland Reserve Program and acquired by the Harrison County Conservation Board with assistance from many conservation partners, this 161-acre area provides seasonal wetland habitat for migrating waterfowl and native prairie habitat for upland game. It is located in the Loess Hills Bird Conservation Area designated by the Iowa DNR. There is IHAP (Iowa Hunting and Access Program) property nearby-click on the map at the bottom of the page. Access is on a Level B dirt road.
