NATUREVISION ANNUAL NIGHT HIKE At the Park Rewind 2021
Oakland Mills Nature Center, Henry County
Monday, October 4, 2021
October
4th and 5th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each night NatureVision.
Fall event- annual night drive. Do
you remember old tv shows? NatureVision is a two-night event that will
take you back in time and “rewind” to the days when habitat was abundant, and
animals could roam. Due to COVID-19, our event will begin at the entrance of
Water Works Access Campground and Park, north of the Skunk River off Franklin
Avenue.
Be prepared for drive-in style instructions through your car’s radio
once you reach the broadcasting center. From that point, the show lasts about 20
minutes and both nights are identical.
While
you wait in line, everyone in your car will be asked to judge their favorite
photos from this year’s annual contest. Eligible photos will be posted along
the drive for voting just before broadcasting begins.
The
evening’s activity is educational and fun– not scary. All ages are invited with
participating adult age 18 or over. Listen to KILJ 105.5 FM or check our
Facebook page Henry County Conservation Department in the event of inclement
weather. This is a FREE event!
Registration/refund policy can be found HERE.
