Camping Camping at Crawford Creek Recreation Area

Crawford Creek Recreational Area offers 41 electrical sites with a 50 amp hook-up/water and 5 primitive campsites. Our campers greatly appreciate the ample space provided between the sites! ICCB invites you to come experience the hidden beauty of Crawford Creek Recreation Area by camping! 

Current Rates: $20/night modern and $15/night primitive. 

Fishing Fishing at Crawford Creek Recreation Area
Crawford Creek Lake is a 62 acre lake stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish. Iowa fishing regulations apply. Any sized motor is allowed but the entire lake is a no-wake zone.
Hunting Hunting at Crawford Creek Recreation Area
Migratory water fowl hunting, upland bird hunting, and furbearers only. All hunting during the regular seasons set by the Iowa DNR is allowed at Crawford Creek Recreation Area. Hunting area is described as that south of the entrance and the south and west sides of the lake. Non-toxic ammo is required. 
Picnicking Picnicking at Crawford Creek Recreation Area
Picnic shelters are available throughout the park. Each shelter has tables and a bbq grill.
Swimming Swimming at Crawford Creek Recreation Area
A large sandy beach is located near the park entrance. Shelters and restrooms are nearby.
Trails & Hiking Trails & Hiking at Crawford Creek Recreation Area
Enjoy hiking the grassy trail around Crawford Creek Lake. The trail is nearly 3 miles long and shortcuts are not available.
