What: Trick or Treating Halloween Event
When: October 14th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm
Where: 2970 Dodge Avenue Battle Creek, Iowa
Trick or Treaters: We invite all of the public to enjoy a SAFE night of trick or treating. ICCB will have traffic closed off, so there will be no vehicles interfering with the trick or treating route. There will be FREE hayrides given from the beach parking lot to the upper campgrounds. After working your way through the campgrounds and cabins, the hayride will pick you back up at the Camper Registration Kiosk and return you to your vehicles. There will be other activities including a scavenger hunt, prize digging, and multiple photo ops for the whole family.
Campers: Campsites are $20 per night. They are first come first served, so please plan to arrive in advance. We hope to fill every campsite this year. Also, please bring some sort of treat to hand out to the little ghost and ghouls who will be trick or treating. This year we will be giving out three awards for best decorated campsite. These will be Judge's Choice upper and lower campgrounds, as well as the Camper's Choice. The two winners of "Judges Choice" will receive two free nights of camping. The Camper's Choice winner will receive 5 free nights of camping, or a weekend stay in one of our six person cabins. Camper's Choice is determined by the registered campers at the park during the event. Each registered camper gets ONE vote for the best site. All three award winners will be posted at the registration kiosk, at the upper shower house bulletin board, and on the Ida County Conservation Board Facebook page at 8pm on Saturday.
