Jackson County Hiking Club

Posted:3/23/2021 Jackson

Hit the trails at our county areas this spring and summer to find the passwords at the parks! Look for the orange hiking club signs in the parking lots at the nine parks and then the orange sign with the password along the trails at the parks.

Jackson County Parks:

  • Blackhawk Wildlife Area
  • Buzzard Ridge Wildlife Area
  • Cottonville Conservation Area
  • Hurstville Interpretive Center
  • McNeil Nature Preserve
  • Ozark Wildlife Area
  • Papke Wildlife Area
  • Pine Valley Nature Area
  • Prairie Creek Recreation Area

Click here to access information about each of the areas listed above.

How it works:

  1. Choose your park. Go for a hike.
  2. Find the password (on an orange sign along one of the trails at the park). Write it down.
  3. Collect all 9 passwords and send to tony@jacksonccb.com.
  4. 4. Receive your Jackson County Hiking Club certificate.
