Twenty acres of this 30 acre area is made up of huge mature hickory and red and white oak trees.  The remaining 10 acres is reestablished prairie . Turkey, deer, squirrels and upland game birds are commonly seen wildlife species.  A pioneer cemetery is located adjacent to the property.

Location

Located 5 miles south of Packwood off of 178th Blvd.  The last quarter mile to the Gantz-Hewett Timber parking lot is on dirt road which may be impassable after a rain.
