Explore the Cedar River by canoe on this free ten-mile paddle trip! Paddlers will start at the boat ramp in Palisades-Kepler State Park and travel down to the Sutliff Access in Sutliff, IA. Canoes, paddles, and PFDs will be provided, along with instruction over canoe basics. Kids five years old and up are welcome. Numbers are capped, so register early by emailing kmorrow@co.johnson.ia.us. A limited number of personal canoes/kayaks are welcome to participate, but registration is required.
