OWL's (Older Wiser Livelier) Maquoketa River Fall Colors Annual Paddle

Join Dubuque, Jackson and Jones County Naturalists as we enjoy the beauty of autumn on the scenic South Fork of the Maquoketa River.  Bring your own watercraft or rent a kayak (limited # of kayaks available).  RSVP by October 13th for attendance and if a kayak is needed for the event. Rental fee for each kayak is $5 and will be paid on the morning of the event.  Experienced paddlers recommended due to the fall water temperature.  

(All registration boxes/data will need to be completed to process the on-line registration.  Payments are not paid on-line but will be paid the day of the event.)

8:30am: Watercraft staging area: Hwy 136 River Access

9-9:30am: Vehicle drop off at Canton Bridge Access (Shuttle drivers back to Hwy 136 Access)

10am: Introductions and Safety Talk at Hwy 136 Access

10:30am: Begin Paddling
