Wapsipinicon Trail

This one-mile trail project is currently underway. Phase 1, a half-mile paved pathway, was completed in 2019.

The much-anticipated Phase II is progressing to the Construction Phase.  The local construction firm Boomerang Construction will be leading the development while Shive-Hattery Architecture and Engineering will be assisting with construction oversight.  Work on the project is scheduled to start in 2022.  The trail is on a solid path to fully connecting the City of Anamosa to the Hale Bridge and Wapsipinicon State Park via a ten foot wide concrete trail.
