Summer Wapsi Float

Join Naturalist Chuck and others on a scenic float of the Wapsipinicon River. The float is scheduled near the middle of summer to enjoy all the season has to offer us. You will also be treated to unique views of Pinicon Ridge Park as well as the Mary Lundby Bridge from the Wapsi. We will have a chance to view a wide variety of wildlife from the river. Participants are responsible for bringing their own boats, gear and must wear their mandatory lifejackets. Arrangements can be made to use a very limited quantity of gear by calling 319-892-6485.  Pack plenty of water, sunscreen, a lunch or snacks, and dress for the weather. Social Distancing will be observed and hand sanitizer should be with each participant. This event will be dependent on appropriate water levels. Cost is $10 per participant or $25 per family. Register online by July 10, with group size limitations due to COVID-19.
