Did you always think it was ​tipi?  What else do you have wrong about these Native American traveling homes? Join us in building a traditional 12 foot, Plains-style tipi from scratch.  Why did this style of home work so well for the Indians living on the Great Plains? We’ll lift poles and walk rope as we learn the physics, sequencing and traditions of this dwelling. Ages 7-12. Cost $15. Registration deadline July 29.
