Raptor Advocacy Rehabilitation & Education (RARE) - See Live Raptors

Wickiup Hill Learning Center, Linn County

Saturday, April 24, 2021

The program will feature The RARE (Raptor Advocacy Rehabilitation and Education) Group’s live Education Ambassadors. The derecho affected not just people but wildlife as well. Join in on the discussion about the importance of trees and how they support all wildlife of Linn County and Eastern Iowa. From the smallest insects all the way up to eagles and deer, they all need trees and other native habitat to survive.

Help ReTree Linn County! The first 25 people to register, in each session, will receive a free small native tree or shrub.

Programs held outside and wearing a mask is recommended. Bring camp chairs or blankets to sit on. Each program is limited to 50 attendees. Pre-registration is required. Program is free but a suggested donation of $10 is appreciated. All donations will support The RARE Group. RARE and ReTree shirts will be available to purchase on site.
