ISU Extension - Mindfulness Thrive (3rd-5th grade)

Join us for an engaging workshop where you learn to worry less and enjoy yourself! Everyone feels isolated, stressed, lonely, and anxious at times…you’re not alone. Learn with other teens how you can find simple ways to improve your wellbeing through fun, engaging, and reflective time to learn more about mindfulness and practice a variety of techniques including connecting with nature. We’ll discuss and practice practical strategies to manage stress, difficult emotions, and help improve overall wellbeing, relationships, and performance in school, sports, the arts, & other daily activities. This active workshop includes supplies, a journal, and the book Mindful Teen by Dzung X. Vo.
