Start the day inside the Center with a Linn County Conservation naturalist showing Iowa's native wildlife. Then, we will depart on a two-hour hike around the park led by one of the naturalist before returning to the learning center for a picnic. Plan to meet inside the Wickiup Hill Learning Center at 9:30 am. For those wanting to join for only the picnic portion of the day, we will return to the learning center around 11:30 am. Plan to bring your own food! We hope to see you there!
Queer Hikers was formed by two friends in 2021 to create a community in Iowa at the intersection of their queer identities and a love of getting outdoors.
