Ever-Tru Wilderness Natural Area


This is a 74-acre area with rolling hills.  This natural area is also dominated by oak-hickory forest and grass covered uplands.  A small pond nestled in the timber offers great bullhead fishing for young anglers.  Both prairie and woodland wildflowers can be found in this transitional ecosystem.  Opportunities for hiking, hunting and bird watching abound.

Located three (3) miles north of New Sharon on the county line road west of of Highway 146, located at 2110 100th St., New Sharon, Iowa.

Park hours are 6 a.m. till 10:30 p.m.
