Spruce Cabin, is one of four modern 2 bedroom cabins offered for reservations at Cordova Park.  During the winter season the rental fee is$130.00/night, 2 consecutive night minimum reservation.  The winter season begins the Friday before Labor Day and runs until the Friday before Memorial Day.  The rest of the year is the Summer season.   During the summer season the rental fee is $910.00/week, weekly rentals, Friday to Friday, only. These four cabins have the same floor plans and are situated in two separate exclusive areas of Cordova Park. Spruce Cabin is adjacent to Pine Cabin. Cabin amenities include: heating/air conditioning, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dining table with 6 chairs, sofa, reading chairs, flat screen TV with satellite, one Queen size bed, 2 twin beds, one futon, large covered deck, picnic table, fire ring etc. Please review amenities, supplies needed, and items provided listed for each cabin prior to making a reservation decision. Location

The four modern 2 bedroom cabins are located in Cordova Park at 1378 Highway G28, 1 mile east of Highway 14 - Highway G28 intersection. The cabins sit atop a wooded bluff over looking Lake Red Rock, direct access to the lake by foot is possible.

Fees

    * Winter Season: Friday before Labor Day to Friday before Memorial Day

    * $130.00/night, 2 consecutive night minimum reservation
    * Summer Season: Begins the Friday before Memorial Day, continues through June, July, August till the
       Friday before Labor Day.

    * $910.00/week, weekly rentals only, Friday to Friday, only.
    * Maximum stay of 14 days.   

    * The cabin fee includes a 5% statewide Hotel/Motel Consumer"s Use Tax imposed on the rental of
       recreational cabins.

    * A $4.00 NON-REFUNDABLE "Processing Fee" will be added to each cabin rental at time payment is submitted.

CLEAN-UP/DAMAGE DEPOSIT REQUIRED

This facility requires an additional deposit check of $150.00 (refundable). The deposit check must be mailed and received at Cordova Park no more than 30 days; and, no later than 14 days prior to arrival date. The cabin user is responsible for cleaning the cabin prior to check-out, to ensure a complete refund, the cabin must be cleaned and ready for the next visitor. The check will be shredded if the cabin is in satisfactory condition.

Cabin Cancellation/Refund Policy

    * Spruce Cabin is available for reservation year round
    * Reservations may be made up to two years in advance
    * Reservations must be made 5 days in advance of arrival date
    * Check-in time is after 3:00 PM at cabin using lockbox code, check-out time is before 11:00 AM
    * Winter Season begins the Friday before Labor Day and continues to the Friday before Memorial Day,
       two night minimum
    * Summer Season begins the Friday before Memorial Day through June, July, August till the Friday
       before Labor Day, weekly rentals, Friday to Friday only

Closures

    * Cabins may not be used without an advanced reservation and payment of fees
    * The general public is requested to respect the privacy of cabin renters. Please do not disturb
       with requests to observe interior of cabins
    * Cabin tours must be pre-arranged with park staff

Permits

    * All RULES & REGULATIONS of the Marion County Conservation Board are in effect
    * All laws of the State of Iowa are in effect
    * Smoking and Pets are prohibited inside the cabin
    * Keg Beer is prohibited
    * Cabin furniture must remain inside the facility
    * Clean-up of the cabin must be completed prior to check-out and be ready for the next visitors
