Lake Restoration

Monroe County Conservation Board and others have started to work on Lake Miami. It's drained down feet at this time and will stay that way through out the summer. Last fall we relocated most of the fish, and killed off the rough fish. Hopefully we will be restocking it this fall. Multiple projects will be going on through out the summer and into next year. We are going to armor the shore line, build more silt ponds and put in a barrier in the spillway. Hopefully the project will be done by March 2015!!
