Siouxland Big Give

Posted:8/14/2019 Plymouth

For the first time the Plymouth County Conservation Foundation is participating in the Siouxland Big Give on October 1, 2019.  The Big Give is an event organized by the Siouxland Community Foundation, their intention being to create an online giving platform to promote local philanthropy. It is a day to bring together all the nonprofits and share all the good they do in Siouxland. It is a one day, 24 hour, midnight to midnight, online giving blitz!  Over 100 nonprofit organizations in the Siouxland Area have signed up to participate.

The Plymouth County Conservation Foundation hopes to raise money to help with Plymouth County Conservation Board's newest project, The Hillview Improvement Project!!  With the addition of 300 acres to Hillview Recreation Area, the foundation is excited to assist in expanding our hunting areas, improving upon our already established hiking, biking and equine trails as well as possibly add another 9 holes to our Disc Golf Course and an equine camping area.

If you are interested in helping during this 24 hour giving blitz, there are giving locations at South Sioux City HyVee, Gordon Drive, Southern Hills Mall and Hamilton Sioux City HyVee.  Locations are accepting cash or check donations. Use to use a credit card online. Cash and check donations can be made during the giving day at designated locations.

UPDATE: Siouxland Big Give has just announced that you may begin online giving beginning 2 weeks prior to October 1!  Be aware however it will not show on our profile or be taken out of your account until October 1.
