Earth Day Beautification

Kick off Earth Day in one of our county parks! Help beautify an urban forest preserve and adjacent roadways as we remove litter from Brown’s Woods and along 63rd Street. Wear long pants, sturdy shoes and bring gloves if you have a pair. Coffee, hot cocoa and water will be available – be sure to bring your favorite mug and refillable water bottle! All equipment provided. To register for this event, please email volunteer@polkcountyiowa.gov.

  **If inclement weather is approaching and a workday must be canceled, a message indicating the cancelation will be left at 515.339.0933. In the absence of a cancelation message, the workday will proceed as planned.
