14th Annual Mentored Youth Waterfowl Hunt

Budding duck and goose hunters will experience the thrill of waterfowl hunting in a safe and controlled environment.
Event Details:
· A hearty hunter’s breakfast will be provided pre-hunt. Come hungry!
· Each youth will be partnered with an experienced waterfowl hunter and a conservation officer to serve as mentors.
· Youth and mentors will be assigned to blinds in the 88-acre controlled waterfowl hunting area at Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt and other nearby wetlands.
· Mentors will provide dogs, decoys, calling skills and guidance.
· Youth provide waders, firearms, and ammunition (These can be provided by sponsors if youth do not have. Ammunition must be steel shot - #4 or 6 shot suggested).
Door prizes will also be provided.
