OWLS (Older Wiser Livelier Seniors) - Biking Alaska

Tesha and Larry Huffaker, from Newton, and thirty others with the North Iowa Touring club biked 755 miles in Alaska. They started biking in Anchorage on June 11 2004. They biked down to Homer, ferried over to Kodak Island back to Seward and ended up in Fairbanks on June 27. They enjoyed beautiful scenery, viewed incredible wildlife, and saw Mt McKinley 12 of the 14 days.   

Looking for an excuse to get out of the house, make some new friends, and learn about the exciting world of nature? Then join us for cookies and coffee social staring at 10:30 and program at 11.
