Join us for a sweet time at Hitchcock Nature Center as we get ready for Valentine's Day and find romance in Iowa's Loess Hills. Adults are invited to bring their sweethearts and join us for a special evening event on Saturday, February 10th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Enjoy hot cocoa & a warm fire as you take in the beautiful view from the Loess Hills Lodge at night then hit the trails for a special, guided night hike or take a more private hike just the two of you along a lit trail. This event is designed for adult couples only please, age 18 & over.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited, please register by February 7th to reserve your space. Register online in minutes. Please call (712) 545-3283 for more information, registrations will not be taken over the phone.
PLEASE NOTE: When you register
you immediately secure your space and prevent others from registering. Not
attending a program you have registered for means that other guests cannot
attend either and spaces go unfilled. Please do not register if you are not
certain you will be able to attend. Thank you for understanding.
Attendees must purchase a $3.00 per vehicle daily entrance pass or have a Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation membership to attend this program. Daily passes may be purchased with exact change or check at the front gate and may be purchased the day of the event. PCF memberships may be purchased for $20.00 from staff at any of our parks or at the Loess Hills Lodge at Hitchcock Nature Center during regular business hours. There is no additional fee to attend this program, free will donations are encouraged and will support continued programming opportunities in Pottawattamie County.
This event is adult friendly but not pet friendly, please leave your canine friends at home. Service animals are always welcome.
